Our company served as the official specialized contractor for tents at the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya, Hainan. We provided a one-stop solution covering the design, manufacturing, installation, operation, maintenance, and post-event dismantling and recycling of various functional tents across multiple venues, meeting diverse needs for competition, media, office, and reception areas. Engineered to withstand the strong winds and saline-mist environment of the coast, the tents utilized modular aluminum alloy structures; we ensured zero safety incidents through continuous on-site support and restored the site to its original condition without leaving a trace, setting a benchmark for modular temporary structures in intercontinental beach sporting events.
Project Solution
As the official specialized contractor for tents at the Sanya Asian Beach Games, we provided comprehensive, one-stop services—including design, custom manufacturing, on-site installation, interior fit-out, round-the-clock on-site maintenance, and "leave-no-trace" dismantling and recycling—for all functional tents across the event. Our operations covered key venues such as the Tianya Haijiao competition zone, the Sanya Bay main venue, and the Asian Beach Games Park, fully meeting the diverse operational needs of the event.
The project involved a wide range of tent types, including facilities for competition check-in, referees, event command and administration, media operations, athlete rest and warm-up, VIP reception, medical emergencies, and logistics storage. These structures provided all-around support for core operations, including competition management, administrative work, media coverage, guest reception, and logistics.
To withstand the challenging coastal environment—characterized by high temperatures, humidity, salt spray, and strong gusts—we utilized high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum alloy modular structures paired with specialized fabrics that are flame-retardant, UV-resistant, waterproof, and corrosion-resistant, ensuring structural stability and high safety standards. The use of modular, rapid-assembly techniques allowed for efficient construction without damaging the beach's natural landscape, perfectly aligning with the Games' core philosophy of hosting a "green, frugal, and leave-no-trace" event.
Throughout the Games, our professional operations team provided 24-hour on-site monitoring, scheduled inspections, and emergency support, achieving a flawless record with zero malfunctions or safety hazards. Post-event, we completed systematic dismantling, material recycling, and site restoration, successfully passing multiple inspections by the organizing committee and safety and environmental authorities.
